I grew up in SE Portland on Wilson’s hill that is now named Powell Butte. I am looking information about this and history of Gates Road-renamed 136th street. I lived in a house built in 1909 and remodeled in the 1960’s. Do you have any information on the orginal builders of old houses.
I live off NE Jonesmore Street. Where did this name originate? I haven’t been able to find anything on who Jonesmore was. Thank you!
