CREEKMORE, POLLYANNA – age 88 went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 3, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Creekmore and seven siblings. Pollyanna graduated from Knoxville High school then the University of Tennessee, and earned her Master’s Degree from Colombia University. She worked as a librarian at East Tennessee State University and as librarian of the McClung Historical Collection at Lawson McGhee library. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Pollyanna Creekmore music fund at Messiah Lutheran Church; 6900 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN 37919. A memorial service will be held at the Messiah Lutheran Church on Friday afternoon at 3 pm. Please call Highland Funeral Home with any questions. 865-588-0567.
