Genealogy Tip: One of the ways to take advantage of the fact that GenealogyBank is always adding new content is to use a feature on the newspapers’ search results page that lets you search just on the content added since a certain time. With this feature, found along the left-hand side of the search results page, you can search only on the newest content – even newspaper articles GenealogyBank added within the past week!

  1. Folks at GenealogyBank.com,
I am doing a “Happy Dance,” and had the 4th of July, my birthday and Christmas all rolled into one!
It was the HUGE addition of newspapers in May, and most particularly the San Jose, CA, papers. Over the years I have been hoping that someone would get them (or get them from Google which is impossible to search and use); have even mentioned to your Support people a couple of times when I needed to contact them.
This will mean hours of searching for me and an untold number of “hits” as I have several family lines in areas covered by the San Jose papers.
There were also several other cities added that I was glad to see.
GenealogyBank is the only newspaper site where I keep an ongoing subscription and I am very, very happy that GB is the one who got the San Jose newspapers.
    Thank You, Thank You
