It’s almost here, the gathering genealogists eagerly anticipate: the annual RootsTech conference, the biggest genealogical event of the year, happening in Salt Lake City, Utah, from this Thursday, February 29th, until Saturday, March 2nd.

GenealogyBank of course will be there, staffing booth #1307.

Whether you’re attending RootsTech in person or online, come pay us a visit. We’re ready to have fun – and also do some genealogy work with you, answering questions and providing search tips. Ask us how we can help you find your ancestor!

We will have in-booth presentations (see schedule below). We will also have a fun photo booth and we will be giving away a free membership as well as several books. And we have a special membership offer good only during the conference (details below).

Melony Young, our Director of Consumer Support, said: “We are excited to be at RootsTech this year because the theme is so closely related to our site. The theme for 2024 is ‘Your Story Is Worth Remembering.’ Since GenealogyBank.com is a premier resource for telling your family’s stories, we are happy to participate and present this year.”

About Our Featured Speaker

Melony Young is a seasoned Customer Support Director and Corporate Trainer, and has played a crucial role in developing and training teams at companies like American Express, The American Red Cross, Wayfair, and currently, GenealogyBank.com. Melony has also been known to “dabble” in acting and voiceover work.

Melony developed a love and respect for genealogy work through her grandmother Arlene’s lifelong passion of family history and research, and continues this legacy through an ongoing project with her children and grandson to capture and document life events and memories. Family history research and DNA even helped her connect with a half-brother.
