Melissa Davenport Berry holds a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Salem State University. Her historical articles have appeared in several Massachusetts newspapers, including Winchester Star, Patriot Ledger, Eagle Lawrence Tribune, Newburyport News, Ipswich Chronicle, and The Current. In addition, she has contributed to the publications of historical society newsletters and articles in Genealogy Magazine. In 2013 Melissa created a blog, AnceStory Archives, and was chosen as one of the bloggers for the New England Regional Genealogical Conference. She has worked exclusively with many families and private collectors on compiling their genealogical history and provenance on their antiquities. Currently Melissa is working on research projects for the Heritage Collectors Society in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and has a new website and blog Americana-Archives.com
