Hi Frank - GenealogyBank has over 60 Philadelphia newspapers for that time period. So many papers that we gave them a special search site. Go to: http://www.genealogybank.com/gbnk/newspapers/explore/USA/Pennsylvania/Philadelphia/ to search only the Philadelphia newspapers.

Go to: http://www.genealogybank.com/gbnk/newspapers/explore/USA/New_Jersey/ to search the New Jersey newspapers.

It's a great site, but I am still waiting for newspapers from Scranton, Pa (Carbondale, Olyphant, etc.). I have subscribed before and I know you have Wilkes-Barre papers and Irish World but they do not have my names. So, as soon as these papers go online, I will subscribe again.
